We present the latest development from Citizen, the D25, equipped with double-gang tool stations and B-axis. The double-gang arrangement allows for short cycle times for high productivity with a low cost per piece. The large number of tools, both for the main spindle and the sub-spindle, provides cost-effective production of complex parts.
Z2 axis in the second gang for counterbalance cutting opposite the first gang and for simultaneous roughing and finishing machining. The rear tool holder (Y3 axis) accommodates modular radial or frontal fixed/rotating tools and is equipped with an adjustable rotating tool for frontal, radial, or angular machining. The B axis is located in the first block for complex machining on main spindles and sub-spindles.
